R.I.P. Frank Hensley (General Discussion)
R.I.P. Frank Hensley
February 8, 1933 –July 25, 2015
Frank Hensley died suddenly this past Saturday. He had served on the Boards of Tennessee Citizens for Wilderness Planning and Advocates for the Oak Ridge Reservation. He was a dedicated conservationist, a fearless whitewater paddler, an innovative engineer and fabricator, and friend to many. Frank was instrumental in helping preserve the beauty of the Obed River and Clear Creek where many of us paddle.

The family will receive friends and condolences on Thursday, July 30 at Weatherford Mortuary (158 S. Jefferson Circle, Oak Ridge, Tennessee) from 5:00—7:00 p.m., with funeral immediately afterward. The family requests memorial contributions to TCWP or AFORR.
I'll be putting my boat on top of my car in his honor tomorrow.
