Grand Canyon trip Sept 24 Launch - available slots. (General Discussion)
All
The permit holder (PH) is having trouble finding ppl for his 9/24 GC trip.
This is a prime shoulder season launch date.
Right now the big need is for ppl to row rafts. (prior raft experience would
be good but not required.)
Any body rowing a raft could bring an additional person or two.
The number of passenger/kayakers will depend on the number of rafts.
The PH intends to keep the trip to 10 ppl.
This is a 21 day trip Lees to Diamond with shuttle, food and rental gear
provided by Moenkopi Outfitters, the ESTIMATED cost is $1300 Flagstaff to
Flagstaff. not including your booze and sodas
Please call me if you have an interest in joining this trip.
This is a prime shoulder season launch date. The weather will be moderate.
Feel free to pass this info on to your buds who might be interested. Have
them e-mail or phone me (931-863-3592).
I you are interested do not tarry, the permit will be returned soon if the
PH does not have ppl for the trip.

I may be interested... Got to check in at work this week and see if it is feasible for me to get that much time off... I have oar rigged on class 2 water before, but have raft guided for 3 summers in CO and NC. Been on the westwater canyon stretch of the CO River before. I will repost as soon as I find out
